6 X 6, hell I will be happy with a 1 X 1 :) Seriously though I reckon I will almost wet myself with the excitment if I could just hear a bugle up close and personal.

Ditto to the above Will. I know a couple of Aussie's that with out your hard work etc this trip of a lifetime wouldnt be happening.

I remember the emotions of a gent I took elk hunting a few years ago. He was from Williamsport, Pennsylvania. On his first day out, we heard a bull bugle at first light. I maneuvered him in for the shot of a lifetime on a perfect 6x6. This bloody bull was screaming his head off by the time we were within range. Phil was so caught up in the moment, he literally forgot to shoot the bull! This bull was standing right in front of a cow at 34 yards (I had a cow tag). I kept whispering, "shoot, shoot, shoot!" The bull eventually walked away-taking the cow with him. When it was all said and done, Phil turned to me, extended his right hand to shake mine, and said, "Will, if I never shoot an elk, you have made a dream of mine come true. I got to hear a bull elk bugle while tended his cows! That's been a dream of mine since I picked up my first Field and Stream Magazine in high school (he was 47). Thank you!". For me, that said it all. If I can do that for every person on the planet, my life is complete!

You got that right Will. I'm still replaying Utah in my head from last fall. Twelve glorious days of bugling, climbing, running, and more bugling. That memory will never leave me. Hope you all get a chance to hear that!

Man I'm glad this thread is here for us! Reading the new posts is the highlight of each day. I get to relive September 23, 2009 every morning. Will, I know what you mean. Even if I had not shot that elk, there's no way I could forget that moment being face to face with a bull at 15 yards. I cannot wait for this trip!

Id like to join in on the grattitude here. Thanks again to Will and anyone else who has contributed towards providing information for people and helping them live out their dreams! It is people like yourselves that give bowhunters a good name and help sustain interest in the sport. Id also like to thank Mark and Dave in the UK as they do their best to 'round people up' by getting their arses off the sofa and out on the hunt!

Im really looking forward to the trip!

Why thank you Martyn! Also, all my thanks to all the guys over in the states for setting everything up;) and getting us 'couch potatoes' up, out and hunting;)

I just wish we had the chance over here to get people out bowhunting, but thanks to the good ol' British government I cannot see that happening in the foreseeable future :(

Cheers Martyn , but really it's all down to Will , cuz if I had not sent that first PM to him about bowhunting and got invited myself we may not be in the position we are now ...... that's tickets booked ready for Elk Camp 2010 :) .

I remember Will telling me that I supply my hunting gear and he would do the rest , he also said we would live like kings for the duration of our trip( true too his word we did ) and that all that was missing was the dancing girls . Unfortunately we could not get hold of any dancing girls lastime , so I'm bringing my grass skirt and coconut bikini top ..... hope you don't mind my pale skin and red hair doing the Hoola .... LMAO :)
