I ain't one of those multi shot hacks from the city, single shot, traditional, multi shot 410's are not hunting.

I might have rushed the shot my heart was pounding, biggest red I have ever seen. Where I hunt there is no management if it it red it is down, if I pass on it the neighbor will take it or the other a hole 2 doors down will he shoots anything, he does not get QSM.

I think my mechanical sight failed it deployed because of the o rings or the clips on the way to hitting the squirel only half the shot deployed.

Maybe you should consider a higher FOC set up

That’s where you went wrong. You should have gone with 4 shot. Everyone knows that speed is over-rated and that a heavier projectile will hit with more momentum down range resulting in more penetration and quicker kills.

I thought you’d know that by now.

Dude you're screwed. You went into the kill zone with untrained dogs and now appears to be headed for the neighbors. You've gotten the whole area scenes up and a trained dog is gonna have trouble picking up the trail.

You best have a GPS map application like onX or basemap....do not go on the anti's property with out permission! Call the game warden if you need...he might be able to help

I suspect the meat will be unsalvageable at this point...if the yotes didn't find him last night.

So many mistakes...it's a damn shame.

It’s all about the pics now. Make sure you get down and low behind him and don’t forget to get that yeti cooler in the pic.

Can we have an admin pin this thread so that others will learn from all the grievous mistakes us pros have pointed out?

To the OP. How often do you practice with your lousy set up? From what I read, you shouldn't even hunt. Ever!

Sota is watching his tactacam vids over and over and saying, "he was slightly quartering toward" and wishing he waited 3 more seconds before releasing the high powered pellet.

I don't need practice or to test my set up I have doing this for years, I suspect it was a mechanical wad failure.
