I went out this afternoon but couldn't get a shot at a doe. I had a little 6 point come in and tempt me. I still have a buck tag in PA but I would rather see him get another year or two older. I hope to get out a few more times this week in PA. Season ends on Monday the 16th.
Our PA season ends on Monday, 16th but I'm headed to SC for work on Monday. I'm heading back home on Friday. Season in Ohio ends on Saturday, February 4th. I hope to get back out there at least one more time before it ends. I still think we need a doe to pad our points.
Team 12 is back in 2nd place. There inching closer guys. I'm going out with my dad to Ohio Saturday morning. Most likely will only get an evening and a morning hunt because we both need to be back Sunday night. I need a doe.

Talk about coming down to the wire. This was going to be my last sit in Ohio before the Contest ended. I was going to go back for the last weekend which is 2/4 and 2/5 but that wouldn't have helped us. I had 2 doe come in at once but they were both walking and wouldn't stop. I grunted once, then twice and they stopped and I shot the first one. They were both mature does but she was bigger. I got her entered on the contest, so we should see an update later. This has been a long season and I have surely enjoyed all of the team commadore. Hopefully, our lead holds but there still is 9 days left. Thanks to all of you. This has been a great team.

Ty is tracking down Mudlake3 on FB because he went missing from our group. Rumor has it that he killed a doe on family ground in Florida and a bruiser of a buck in OH. So, we will get him to get those on the board. Save me a bottle!
