Went and hunted the wheat field tonight. Saw several does and a small 6 point chasing. My fear is lock down is here....

Hey man you never know! Sometimes you gotta try it all. I’ve been a desperate man a time or 10 in the woods haha.

I'm up. High winds today, so I buried myself deep into a swamp. Have maybe 10 yard shots around me it's so thick. Found a fresh bed in here, so setup right on top of it. Let's see if anyone comes home today.

    Good luck all!

That sucks suncrest. Get well soon. Have a light dusting of snow here but the big thing is going to be the 25mph wind gust. I don’t think I’ll be staying out long today. Finishing up my coffee and get ready for the ground n pound. Good luck morning crew.

Up a tree wearing snow camo. Should've picked a better tree with the west wind. Over a foot of snow. Really hoping for a doe.

    Shooting OO buck today!

Yah, that lasted a whole hour and a half
Good ole weather man, .10" of snow stopping at 6a m. By that time I looked like a snowman, by the time I left it was a mini blizzard out there. Plow had come through and when I crossed the road home there was an inch on it. I did have this guy come in Though. My gloves and hoodies got soaked winds were nasty 14°, frost bite,no thank you.

Feeding on the poke weed and berry bushes

Lousy pics but my hands were wet and half frozen...3pt. and he got with in 10 yrds

Just had a absolute pig of buck just walk thru. Skirted the edge of the swamp at about 30 yards, no shot available. Then 5 minutes later had a broken rack 10 pt try to bed in the bed I'm hunting over. He got to 5 yards. Then a nice 6 pt came in after that at about 15 yards. 20221120_073252.jpg 20221120_074021.jpg

Cold enough that the trees are popping.
