I'll tell you guys what. I have such a horrible time keeping my hands warm. They get so cold they actually hurt. That's why I purchased several rechargeable hand warmers. I tell you when you put your hands in your pocket and those things are heated up, it almost better than, I mean it so good, well you do get your hands warmed up!! I’m going to get down, haul my stuff out of this valley, pack up and head home. I’m really looking forward to a nice, long, real shower and then my recliner by the wood stove. Its supposed to snow again tonight so I’ll probably be in a tree at home tomorrow afternoon. It’s been a lot of fun but home is calling.

Just had a big mature doe walk by at about 60. She hit the field next door and went running across the field. Got to think something is harassing her. Where ya at?’
Home, daughters is dropping dog off in a little bit . She has a meeting in the city. Beside I had a coughing jag the made me have to go. So I'm about ready to give up. I had a card on me and decided to swing past the gypsy blind and put the card in. I'd taken it days ago with out a replacement. I also wanted to check tracks. I get to the ridge before blind and glass the area..WTH! There slowly walking away from the blind is the big wide 8. Light enough to get a good glass on him he's big bodied and wider than the first buck I took off our place. That was a 19" spread 8 pt. I can't win this year. I watched his exit and then walked through gully and set the card. There were so many deer tracks walking around that blind unbelievable! The wind was just terrible for hunting there this morning the north winds would have been straight at my back going in. Oh well at least he's still alive and I have a few days before Saturdays orange army.
I’m back home. I checked the camera I had up where I was at. Small buck and a couple doe. There are beat down trail all over the hillside. I need to figure out when they are using them.
