Way to go everyone, 3rd place and 21pts out of first. I'm out with my boys today and tomorrow, trying to get on something for them. I'll be in a NJ tree Friday through Sunday, looking to add another 100pts at least. I can hunt here from now through January 31, when the contest ends. I'm gonna keep plugging along to help get us over the top.
My VT season ended December 15. Be back in NJ the entire first week of January and then a 4 day stint the third weekend in January.. Team 8 sure came out of nowhere and blew everybody off the board, crazy December.
I'll be out all week in NJ. Still looking for a Buck. Anything 100" and up will get an arrow. Trip is starting off good, just had 11 Doe/Fawns go by.
Yesterday afternoon I shot a 50pt Buck. Been a frustrating, long season and also needed some more bacon cheddar burger, sausage and jerky. We are in 3rd place. Another Doe would put us in 2nd, another decent Buck would put us in first, if anyone out there still has the ability to hunt. Hope everyone's freezers are full and you enjoyed the time sitting in creation.
