I always liked her bow line. Good luck if you get out this weekend! Supposed to drop drastically here, too. 70 today, snow Sunday. Glad you were not injured with the bow break.
Ya it got up to 78 yesterday and gonna be mid 70's today but a good cool down starting here tomorrow.
Hubby had 3 shooters & 1 small buck chase a doe past him just Out of range at 11am this morning so they are rutting even in the warm weather.
I also got ahold of one of our no-post guys. He just doesn't have internet to log in to the forums - but he is included in our text. he hasn't been out hunting - but does have a chance at a doe spot. Hopefully we keep this upswing going! I had an awesome sit yesterday. Bucks all over (which never happens) - just didn't have any to come in for a shot.
Got him on public hunting land at 730 this morning from my climber, 11 yard shot & watched him drop 30yds from my tree. I got him posted to the scorecard thread for our team.
Great buck! Is he bigger then your first? You have some great public land success. Has your husband gotten any more?
The rack is more points than my 1st buck but a way smaller body than my 1st buck, I'll score him tomorrow. It's good land that I know like the back of my hand been hunting out there for over 11 years. I have a bunch of trail cam picks of both my bucks from this year but all from 300 yards away from where I killed my bucks this year.
No, my husband didn't hunt today and won't hunt tomorrow. He might get out Sunday or Monday... he really dislikes the cold more & more the older and sicker he gets ... plus he is from Puerto Rico so he likes it hot.
