    How are the Iowa guys doing? Both of my cameras are still pretty active. Some of the bigger bucks are less frequent right now which I expected. Don’t think I’ll get out there for any early season action, just focusing on the rut!

    I was down there last week and broadcast one of our food plot blends into the standing beans for late season. I saw 2 really good bucks and 2 GIANTS including a double drop tine buck! I can't wait to get back down there.

    Good luck everyone heading out there this year. My buddy and I are sitting on 5 points for next year. Will probably go out in March to scout and find a piece to lease for a home base. Will be towing out a camper around halloween.

    We will be doing 3 weeks. If we get lucky and tag we hope to drop down to MO, and or or maybe stop in Ohio on our way back east.

    It blows me away the cost to hunt a whitetailed deer, the most prevelent game species in North America, in Iowa. I get it, its known to grow big deer, but holy smokes... almost 1K for a tag? for a deer? lol.
