What’s up team, my names Tyler I’m from SW Pa. Looking forward to this season. Got some good ones to chase here in Pa and in Ohio.
I guess I should formally introduce myself. My name is Brad I live in Tuscaloosa Alabama and I’m a maintenance electrician for the University of Alabama. I live on 40 acres that I hunt I also have 180 acres at my camp and about 30 minutes away from my house I have just started having a big piece of public its about 36,000 acres. Normally I hunt public land in Illinois but this year I got drawn to hunt Iowa. I will be headed up to scout in a couple weeks and then I will be taking off a couple weeks of November. I’m looking forward to getting to know y’all.
Hell yeah man, you’ve been here awhile and I don’t think we’ve ever been teammates. Looking forward to it! Your probably not far from Scott (buckeye). Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Ya man I’m looking forward to it, def never been on a team b4 with ya. I hunt in SE Ohio by the river, back home I have a 90 acre farm I been trying to groom for several years. Starting to come around a good bit, holding a lot of deer and some good ones typically hang around. I got drawn for a Ohio lotto hunt too at killdeer plain this year for two weeks in October, never got pulled for one of them b4. I’m also heading to Iowa for 10 days in November. Been waiting 6yrs for that tag, hope the weather cooperates. Looks like we got a solid crew so far.
My lease is in East Texas. It's roughly 1300 acres with about 10 hunters. Half of those guys barely hunt and 80% of them only gun hunt. Bucks are hard to come by with a bow in East Texas but it can be done. I've only been able to kill one off my lease in about 7 years of being on it with my bow, but you can almost count me in for a doe though. If I gun hunted more, I'd probably have one every season as I've seen them, but they've been out of range with my bow lol.... that's about how it goes though. Also, on my lease, I have a age requirement... bucks must be at least 4.5 years+ of age otherwise I take a fine!
I’ll be hunting a handful of farms in NE Ohio by where I live, I’m also taking a late October public land archery hunt to Indiana and going down to hunt the rut in WV with my bow. Should be a pretty good season, im excited. All my hunts will be on YouTube this year as well. I should add, I’m a fireman and have off October 16th - December 9th. Worst case scenario I’ll be doing some stretches in Indiana if I need to make it happen with my bow. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
That could be awesome man, looking forward to watching it go down! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
1300 acres is HUGE! Are you guys running feeders and stuff out there? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
