I've followed along here for several months, reading y'all's coded messages for the workouts you do. Had to google supine stretch, Wedes, you maniac. Anywho, was looking for a leg day workout from some of you. I have a squat rack and limit out on db's at 30 lbs for now (plenty of plates tho). I'd say I'm about an intermediate on this, so don't kill me, but gimme a pretty good one that you guys like. Also, I'm 45 yo and not looking to further destroy my knees. lol

Over the past year I've been specifically training my youngest daughter to be faster. As I near 48 years old, I am having trouble keeping up with her in any running distance. She just turned 14 and is making it hard for me!

I've been working hard this off season.

Down 50 lbs and 7% body fat in 10 months. Feeling good. Goal is down 70 lbs and then just focused on muscle, eventual goal is an elk hunt

That is awesome! It's definitely not easy but once it becomes part of your routine and you stay focused, you WILL get there. Stay after it!!

    Thanks guys!!

Last year we put an addition on the house, master bed/bath.

I turned the basement into a home gym and playroom for the kids. I did all the work, think it turned out pretty good. No excuses when it's right downstairs. I've since added a lot more dumbbells and other small equipment. I have a home gym, rower, bike. It's been great. My boy always wants to go down and workout with me, and my daughter has plenty of toys. He's six and 4'4", figure if I can get him hooked now he's gonna truck some kids, lol. [IMG]

Hiked for an hour yesterday with a 20lb weight vest and then continued wearing it around the office for a total of 3 hours in the vest.

I hate dead lifts. Just scare me from an injury standpoint, always have. Today was a lot of core for me.

Mix of chest and back earlier. Still felt good so hit shoulders too. Now I'm tired.

As long as you use proper technique(and if you're really worried, a belt) you should be completely fine. last sesh I was doing 330 beltless and it felt really nice
I've finally got back into running(used to do it everyday before COVID, took a break till this march). Got myself a new pair of Inov8 shoes from local running store https://rununited.com/ , gotta say those are really nice!

Well no workout for me today, at least in the traditional sense. It was my annual preseason trip to O-H-I-O to prepare stand sites and do camera work. BUT, it required walking in and out for 4 miles carrying a 50lb pack. It was hot, sticky, and mosquito infested. I walked in snow uphill both ways in my bare feet. Oh wait a minute, I'm getting carried away! Anyway, that all wasn't too bad for an old man. it was definitely a good workout though.

Been on the grind getting ready for the season. Run, walk, pullups, pushups. Just upping the volume.

one of the things that I know better but find really hard to adhere to- nuts are poison.
I love peanuts, almonds, cashews and pistachios. But they are really bad for you. They do have healthy fats, but they have a ton of toxins in them that we as humans don't tolerate very well. Huge aggravator of arthritis. They evolved to be ate whole and dispersed (shat) raw and whole so as to spread their seeds. We humans chew them up (killing the seed) and releasing their toxins into our body, causing all kinds of inflammation.

I know how I feel when I eat them vs. when I don't. I feel like an old man when I do.

Tired of this growing old man mid section. Ive never really gone high protein but Im going to try it for the next 3 weeks. Really put my mind to it to see if I can lose 5lbs of flab in 3 weeks with just a change of diet.
