I still have numerous types of sticks, summer sausage, and brats left. Going to have no shortage of those before the season starts. Going to be excellent snacking while in the stand.

I use the Ozonics Orion. When I got mine I got a good deal on it. I checked the prices a few days ago and I was surprised at how much they cost now.

I’ve had a lot of success with mine and while I used to be a skeptic I am now a true believer.

They do make noise, but it’s not that loud. I’ve had deer right under me when it was running and they couldn’t hear it.

My biggest problem is that having it running right above my head interferes with my ability to hear deer coming in.

I learned that it helps a lot to mount it and run it upside down. That way the fan is on the top which reduces the sound considerably.

Just applied for the local lake special hunt areas again. This year me and 2 others went with the group hunt, one drawn all drawn. Figure if we do get drawn, would be best to know who is hunting the area and where they're hunting etc.

They changed it up this year, have to be willing to kill 3 deer in two weeks and must tale 2 antlerless before an antlered. Guessing they did not meet their quota last year or too many trophy hunters.

We moved our freezer to the basement last weekend and sorted the meat while it was out. 3 clothes hampers nearly full and some was dated back to 2018. Time to fire up the grill!!!

Checking my cameras and walk around the corner of the back cornfield… Biggest buck I have on cam is standing 30 yards away with 2 smaller bucks. Watched them for about 30 seconds before I got ate alive by deer flys and skeet’s. Once I started swatting they bolted.

Just got done seeding 5 small foodplots.
    Radish/turnip/rape mix.
Gonna leave now, go to a bar 7 miles away, have a few cold beers and will drag in the seed before dark.

Reset the camera. Crazy how you place a camera in a new area on a 52 acre piece and get new bucks the first day. Not shooters but still great to see.

Haven’t got anything done.I know what I want to do but it has been brutally hot and supposed to be near triple digits today with high humidity.
