Must be the cooler temps today. I went from no bucks at all to multiple bucks showing up. A couple even made an appearance in daylight.

I requested HD video of the ones I posted so I can get a better look.

Looks good Littlechief, I’ve had some of my cameras out since March or April. I still have a couple to put out.

I have three Mineral site holes like this scattered around on my property.
    upload_2022-7-11_10-10-36.jpeg

The Tactacams are watching two of them. That’s why I’m getting so many doe pics.

I have my Stealthcams monitoring places I can ride my ebike to so I can check them without tracking up the area.

Here’s a still from a video of What I think is the same 10 point hitting that same crater at 8:21 this morning. It has to be the same one. I can’t have two 10 points of this caliber running my little patch of woods.

He’s running with an 8 point I would be thrilled to shoot too.

I wish I could post video on here and have it turn out good.

My wife and I went out to our pond property last evening so I could hook a new battery up to the trolling motor on the old pontoon boat I am using as a "dock" and see if it worked. To my surprise, it did in fact work, so now my dock will be mobile. lol

Anyway, last evening the super-moon was amazing and we decided to sit there and have a beer and just chill. I caught several fish and she took pictures and relaxed. After picking everything up, we sat in the truck for a few minutes just enjoying the moment and then these two little guys walked right up the bank of the pond to within 5 feet of the truck. It was pretty cool and she got some decent pictures.

Nice to see trail cam pictures and see the contest sign up under way. I need to get some cameras out. IMG_1783.JPG Hunting will be here soon!

I've been busy with food plots and selling off some of my machinery I no longer use.
Finally went fishing, my youngest boy wanted to take his boy out on the boat. Good day fishing even 4 year old was catching bluegills. He wanted to release them all though lol.

My cameras have been active but seldom are does showing themselves. The other night i had three bucks in a single frame.
This morning I put out Full Throttle and three new cameras in an area I had no permission to hunt last year...lets hope.
it is a good feeling to be out in the fields though and its only 35 more days until I retire.

Nice to see our team thread already in the 22 contest section, man time flies and I'm not ready. I'm heading to CT to visit my family for two weeks, then Michigan for the drunken golf scramble/reunion. The TN Velvet weekend is Aug26-28 do the golf event will not impact that weekend, I'll hunt it only if it's not 90 out.
After all that...my schedule should clear up some and I can get some scouting in. Other than shoot my bow, I have nothing ready to go, and I haven't even been able to get that much shooting in. Doesn't look like I'll be using trail cameras again, but I have some good info based on previous years.
    Plans for this year;
    Hunt Tennessee
Hunt Missouri whenever Chief ties the 250" buck to the tree for me.

Almost forgot, a friend of mine bought a house in Franklin Ky with 20 acres and is full of deer, I got the green light for that but it's basically a feeding field.

It would be a sitting on the field edge and wait thing, no scouting, no frustration, no effort....wait....maybe it won't be so bad.

I seem to remember about a 130" 8 point from a couple years ago that should be a monster if he still lives.

I didn’t say 110” was the biggest buck around. It’s just the biggest I’d be willing to tie to a tree for someone else.

If you’ve got to get in trouble, Momma’s not the one to do it with.
