Wonder if we'll get tags like cats and dogs do for rabies.

Maybe the government will mail us reminders that we are past due for shots amd even include a small plastic ziploc for a stool sample

Meant to post earlier, taste and smell is 80%+ restored. Hopefully the third time losing it is the last. Only lasted half a day or so that time.

The list might be getting even more shorter. Called my 81 year old mom last night and she is sick. Asked if she wanted me to run over and haul her to the ER. She said no. Took off this morning and had my brother meet me there. She still said no but I told her I wasn't leaving until she went in. She gave in. Got to ER . Tested positive for covid. They did X-ray her lungs and they were good, no fever and vitals all really good. Told us to take her home as there was nothing they could do for her. Bring her back if she gets worse. I was worried so I forgot to put a mask on when we first got to her house. So close contact for me. Pat also forgot his mask so close contact for him.

While at the ER when the test came back positive it got pretty interesting. They knew my brother and that he works at a Home for the elderly. They told him to contact the Home because they would contact the Home to let them know he was in close contact. He is not vax-ed which they knew. They didn't know me and couldn't care less when I asked if I should notify my boss. Didn't ask if I was vax-ed or where I worked. I can see their concern with Pat working at the Home. Just thought it was funny.

Pat did contact the Home and they told him to quarantine at home for 7 days on his free time but was to come to work. Wear a N95 mask with face shield and get tested every day for the 7 days unless he showed positive during that time. If he tested positive, he would have to stay home for 10 days. Let's just say he is not a happy camper.

Meant to post that earlier as well, have to admit, while it was a 3/4 full gallon bag, I ate half of it without taste and smell.

With it is good, but because I originally effed it up having to add liquid smoke and brown sugar after mixing it all up, certain parts have been better than the rest, but all are edible.

Eating the rest now as I start binge watching the original Dexter.
