Fixed this for you. The time has come for change. We need individuals who are in touch with society in office. NOT career politicians who “think” they know what society wants. The only thing those b-stards want is what lines their pockets. Term limits and age limits. Also, I am on the right side of the of the aisle. Politics has changed since my dad (74) was born so why are we trusting them to run the country.

I get and thought about that, but what happens when your R primary challenger loses? You gonna vote for the Democrat? Beto over Cruz?

I do think every damn incumbant R should face a primary challenger as well, but once the internal dust settles it's the lesser of two evils. While primaries may keep them a shade more honest and accountable, you get to the end of the road you swallow the less bitter pill.

How many of us cast our ballot against a candidate rather than for a candidate?

Like dnoodles said, "The lesser of two evils".

I believe it is quite common for people to vote that way.

I stayed a democrat to be able to vote in their primaries...casting my vote with a hope and a prayer that the lesser of those evils made it in...because in the general I could go with the Republican with a hope and a prayer.
Then I realized just how F ing smart the Dems really are. They started slipping Rhinos in years ago and republicans never caught on. I'm pretty sure they STILL haven't. There is a reason they would love to see primary challenges not just for their middle of the road dems(all these retirements are a wet dream for the squad) but angry voters are easily douped in primaries. You bet there will be republicans primaries with young "New republicans"

BTW...speaking of Ted Cruz...He needs to be fed a superglue sandwich and shipped to an island for a while to think.

With the new omnicron out there, it is mimicking so many other seasonal things, allergies, sinuses, regular cold, etc....these lines for testing are absurd. I went to town earlier this week on my lunch and they had a test site at the parish center (that I didn't know about, my mistake). There had to be 100 cars in the lot and another 50 on the road. I don't know if it's hypochondriacs, legit sick people, those who need a test for employment/school or what...but dang. I'm just over here with a migraine knowing it's normal for me and thinking about how many would get tested for having one.

If I ran to the doc or testing facility every time I get a cough, sniffles, stuffy head, and ache, pain, etc. I'd be living there .. I go twice a year, reg. doc for yearly check up and once to my urologist for my yearly check up and get my piss pills prescriptions renewed ..

Lol....My sinuses and throat flem have been horrible for.....months! Oh Gee now that I'm also walking/jogging in 20+ degree temps everyday, my throat has a trickle and a dry cough......No I'm intelligent and know I don't need a test. Hubby who's been home sick since Christmas and not vaccinated is on HEAVY duty anti viral meds for intestinal issues, pretty sure he's covered. This besides the fact in 43 yrs living with a Petri dish of viral illnesses he has never gotten sick, knock on wood.

BTW Doc. Campbell on you tube, has a new video on the origins of Omicron today

So where'd all that money go to fix the schools?.....into grifters pockets that's where.
This is Hubbys profession. School jobs. You would think bids would be so plentiful they'd not have enough companies with crews to bid them all, yet that's NOT the case. Most bids are remodels or additions NOT in the realm of safety, student spacing, etc...snookered again folks...Please explain how federal air traffic controllers can be forced into work But those teaching your kids, which is MANDATORY for parents to allow and fund, do not fall under the same requirements.
