This spot isn't open very much but I placed a cam by a bedding area for a couple months....the scout was true and it looks to be a good spot. I found this spot a few years ago but have never hunted it......good intel from the cam and I found some big tracks in the creek.

The travel trailer is all set up in Kentucky. I realized on the drive here that I forgot my hunting boots. Fortunately I had a pair of rubber boots in the travel trailer. I don't like wearing them, but it'll beat the sneakers I have on now.

Now it's time to get something to eat, shower and get after them.

Been out twice and no deer set up in Rivers blind due to cold winds and hubby working up top. It would be beautiful except for the wind. Could use a bit more cloud cover..all clear and sun glaring

20211212_151814.jpg Have Caleb set up on the edge of a slash which runs between softwood and a hedge row. Deer like to stage here cause it can't be seen from the road and there is a small creek behind us. Doe or Buck on the menu for him this afternoon.

Just got set up and there are does in the field 150 yards out.

Does are definitely fair game this trip.

No animals save the nieghbors border collie running the other nieghbors land. It didn't spook anything my way. 38 mins to buck tag soup.

    Congrats! Again, but........

You have dubbed these KY deer "the dumbest" several times.

From now on, you have to wear a set of these on each forearm, one end attached at the wrist and the other at the elbow, as an equalizer.
