Many of you have seen here how rough it has been hunting this piece of public land. Gun season starts here before bow season. I still been grinding hard. Many sits with no sightings. When this guy decided to come strolling in over an hour before dark I did not hesitate. 20 yard shot from the saddle. He barely went 60 yards. He fell right behind a tree where I could not see him so I was second guessing my shot. All worked out in the end. Way back in public land. Would have taken forever if I did not have the bike. This was the first time I hunted this perticular spot. I went in and hung 4 cameras around the area. Got setup and about an hour and a half later hunt was over. Thanks guys!
Yes. He came in to some ratting I did about 20 mins prior to him getting to 20 yards. I was pretty aggressive with it too.
Not 80, and I rarely nap more than 15-20 minutes unless I am sick. Spent last noght dodging thunderstorms and tornados. Maybe 3-4 hours of sleep. congrats @Slugger
