Heading to our oldest Son’s hockey game. Might try this evening. Forecasting it to be really windy this afternoon.

    Good Luck, everyone!

Weather man was spot on. Quite a bit of snow/wind. Just looked out on my deck and my clothes are covered in snow and my warm boots filled. I've not got the get r done attitude enuff now to get things cleaned off,get dressed and go sit in this weather.

We have the same here. Started much earlier than expected.

My plan to hunt public in MI went out the window. Wind direction is completely wrong. Not sitting in the open with snow and 20mph winds either.

May go sit in a gun stand here at home. I got a spot for east winds but i dont think the deer will be moving.

I might be out with the snowblower instead. Lol

Will be a game time decision.

congrats to @mike4christ winning this week's BHOD Trophy Buck contest.
I think we can finally get off his back. It's been like 6 seasons.

Nope I saw 1 deer yesterday, today wind and snow. My camo looks like a big blob in the tree because of all the snow. Lake will finally freeze over this week, it might be time to start fishing.

    Very white here.
Kicking myself for not bringing my whites.
It's always amazed me how much I can get away with wearing snow camo.
Did see the buck from yesterday go into bedding area abit ago.
Gonna try n muster up the gumption to try n kill him later 20211205_093443.jpg

Good morning from the elk woods.
It’s a crisp 28 degrees and a fresh skiff of snow. About an hour and a half from the pickup, nothing so far. Haven’t even found any tracks.
    View is worth it all.

I will be out in a couple hours. No game plan as of yet. Did get word of a monster buck working thru a property I can hunt. Multiple sightings from different people and 1 guy got a bunch of trail cam pics. I haven't seen them yet. But everyone that has said he is huge! Lets see what I can find.

Have a strong feeling that it was a rut buck and will never be seen again. I did find a whole herd of fawns living in about 3 acres. That's the next to breed, who knows good chance he will be in there soon.

Plan for this afternoon is to get on the river ice and sneak into the bedding area. I have a ladderstand there and hopefully get in undetected. Sure wish I would brought my snow camo.
