Holy Hell to hear the details. They bought and gifted to their kid. Called in due to him drawing his intent on his desk and never mentioning or checking for the gun..the Mom warns him and not the school and Lol about not getting caught. This makes me wonder if those two didn't back door plan this entire thing and sacrificed for own kid. This idea is not out there in today's climate.
Looks like your neighbors are going to pay dearly, whenever the cops catch them at least. They're probably looking at eight to 10 years minimum. My guess is they're going to go out Brian Landry Style
I have a question, has anyone fired a revolver by partially pulling the hammer back then letting it go?
Sorry as a parent one should know if their kid is a little off in the head, you don't give your weird kid his own handgun with full access to it.
My dad had a little old 9 shot 22 revolver he inherited. The hammer catch sometimes didn't hold. But the thing was almost 100 years old and not well cared for. It was a double action. I have read in novels of some gunfighters back in the mid-to-late 1800s who would customize their single actions by taking out the trigger and just fanning the hammer. I suppose it's possible that given the movie was a period piece that was possible that the gun was intended to portray that, but I would think they would have put that out there to help exonerate him.
I have not personally. My current gun is supposed to have a safety mechanism to keep it from happening. That said, I believe I can squeeze the trigger and hold it and palm the hammer back old west style and fire all 6 rounds. Older guns had the problem you speak of. They would actually only load 5 rounds in a 6 round cylinder and use the empty chamber as a safety mechanism as just dropping the gun could jar it enough to fire.
That's the whole thing, I have no problem buying a gun for a kid, it's no different than telling them their grandpa's gun would be passed down to them when they turn of age or similar. But, and the but is the whole deal, that gun should never be available/accessible to them unsupervised, period. Not until they are of legal age and of proper discipline with it. That said, even that does not stop evil beings from accomplishing evil acts. The Sandyhook kid killed his own mother in her sleep to gain access to the safe to retrieve an AR-15.
Watching the news they have selected the jury for the Kim Potter trial, they were pointing out the lack of african americans on the jury based on the AA population in hennepen vs representation on the jury. They neglected to point out the percentage of registered AA voters in hennepen county. If you do not vote you will never be selected as a juror. Race baiting when further analysis and accurate reporting could explain the reason why there are less AA jury members.
I was summoned for jury duty twice before I registered to vote. I thought you were eligible once you turned 18 and signed up for Selective Services?
The idiots would have been charged and out on bail, now bail has trippled because they are a flight risk. Horrible decision makers.
Well Sorta I don't agree with your broad stroke in all you need to do is look at a screwed up kids parents to see why...paraphrasing obviously. That said after seeing and hearing what they did they are the the mirror to that statement. The wife actually looks like she could be a serial killer herself.
I figured they were taking the dnoodles approach, their lawyer says they're returning for arraignment. Sounds like the prosecutor let emotions get in the way of doing things right. The Sherriff had no idea charges were being preseed until the media called him for a response. Said they could have had them under observation/surveilance and taken them into custody.
