Anyone here hunt the December Nebraska Muzzleloader season?

A buddy and I have been talking about trying to get together to do an out of state hunt for a couple of years now. We kind of narrowed it down to possibly doing a December non resident muzzleloader in Nebraska since that fits our (mine mainly) schedules better.

Any pros/cons to this, dos/don'ts or any reasons we shouldn't even consider this? I've got another buddy that lives west river SD about 10 miles from the Nebraska border so we could potentially base camp there.

    Thanks for any input!

    edit: would be for 2022.

If you're hunting late season muzzleloader food and cold weather is the most important factor.

Have you been out there during that season at all, Tom?

Thanks, I appreciate it! Planning to take a shed hunting trip or 2 this spring to get a feel for the land. I've got a buddy in Burke SD so that is one option for a starting point for us.
