Sou shot a buck today. About 15 yards from a stand. I hit him broadside, maybe slightly quartering towards me, and I hit him in the shoulder and it blew through both scapulas. It buried until just the fletchings and stopped. So the broadhead penetrated through both shoulder blades and stuck out the other side. The arrow got sheeted off on both ends, I found my fletching end with my knock, but not the other end with the broadhead. The middle part was in his heart.

I am using the 125 grain normal size on a 530 total grain arrow. Bow is set for 65 pounds.

all in all it performed amazing. Total blow through, deer didn’t run 30 yards.

That's a tank! Congrats again. Glad you had success with your set up.

I love the idea of these heads. Here is my concern. A field point will kill a deer on a good shot. It's the marginal shots I am more concerned about. These heads don't look like they have much cut to them. Will bleeding be little to none on a marginal shot?

I don't have a clue how that would look. Don't shoot them nor plan to really. Happy with my black hornets and slick tricks. I know they work. It's cool to see other people's results though.

The cut is the same as most fixed heads. The way I look at it is when I shot large expandables I destroyed the head every time and never got a lot of perfect through and through. For whatever reason be it blade deployment or bleeder striking, my arrows took a turn when they entered. I have killed 3 deer with these so far and had a friend kill 3 other and all passed through except one that went through a scapula then heart then out the other side before it snapped the shaft. I don't get paid for these but I would recommend. They sharpen in just a few minutes on a stone and are as durable as you would expect from the solid design.
There is hundreds of BHs out there. I like this so far.

Going to try these. When I went to the bow shop early this week I asked the guys about them. The manager tells me to wait a couple mins. Comes out of the back with a promo 3 pack in hand. . He told me I won't regret it.... :p I like being able to try new things at no cost! :p
