I was planning on sitting all the way through until 2:00, but I think I’ll get down at 8:30, go get a hot breakfast and get back on stand about 10:00. I guess it’s one of the benefits of having a place to hunt right next to my house.
Hang in there, I had a couple of dogs chase a six point by me last Friday as I was setting up in the tree. I didn't see anything for four hours after that until I killed a doe 30 minutes before dark. At least you know those bucks aren't locked down.
My 0345 alarm got abruptly turned off. Lol. The 2 hrs it takes me to drive and be set up is taking its toll. Afternoon for the kill.
Had a pretty cool encounter about 15 min ago. Had two doe come in and almost walked under my tree when all of a sudden they both bound away and start blowing like crazy. I thought they caught my scent or something, then a little bobcat comes strolling by from behind me. The bigger doe came back stomping and blowing and trying to run him off as he just casually went on his way.
You guys are lighting it up this morning. Looking forward to pics and story Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
