Great shot VS! Congrats. Was not gonna sit this morning thinking it would be rainy with winds but 10 minutes before light, I stepped outside and thought it wasn't bad. Dressed quick and popped in a stand. GREAT sit! Had deer all around me. 5 bucks but all smalls. Had 6_8 nice does come by downwind and fed for 1/2 hour and not one pegged me. I was sending out milkweed fluff and I watched one float out and landed/stuck on one's nose. I dusted all my clothes with baking soda yesterday (not my base layers). I've gone through about 15lbs so far. Love not having does blow. Real nasty storm be here soon.snow and 40+winds. I may try sitting in an elevated shooting house I built years ago. Still in great shape and sealed up tight.
Our team is Doing great, once Joe and Bronson get their Bucks listed, we will be in tve top 3. Illbe out there with ya this weekend. Sights not set too high 100" or so catches an arrow.
So on the way home I went by the blind the big 8 went past...fresh scrape and broken licking branch 25 yrds in front...continued on and fresh big high rub. Check cams and while I was away yesterday hunting camp guess who showed up at the stand I fixed Sunday or Monday..can't remember which. yes sir date wrong but time is close. How I know dates? I was caught on the cam the day before when I changed a different cam.
I like hunting deep, but just don't see alot. Thats hunting on VT. So, I go suburbs hunting in NJ, plenty of deer usually, plenty of public land, more noise and neighbors, pets, but deer.

Would be a beautiful day if these wind gusts would stop. It’s calm for 10 minutes and then 25 mile an hour winds for 10 minutes, been that way for the last hour. Between the wet ground and the wind it’s gonna be impossible to hear anything coming. Head is on a swivel
