Damn, Todd! That sucks and must be extremely frustrating, I'd be livid!! I hope something gets worked out in your best interest.

    I can't tell if he is a 6 x 5 or 6 x4

Notice the timestamp on the still image of me walking up to get the card, I moved the camera to face more to the left before I left.

They either made it safely across or she led him back the way they came. Didn't see them either side of the highway, median or laying on the roadway/shoulder

Tues to Fri of this week there is only action to KILL. The best days are here. High temps oh well. Figure a way out. Adjust. Take chances. Try a new spot. Shake off a miss. Shake off not seeing 20 deer a day. Move 50 yds....move 500 yds....move 5 miles.

I hunt private land, and a couple weeks ago my stand was taken down and moved to a different tree. Now i have hunted this piece with other hunters in the past, but they no longer hunt the property, and to take down the stand? fast forward to Friday afternoon and I show up to the property and there are two trucks, one of them driving around the property putting up cell cams. I talked to them and they said the land owner didnt know whos stand that was, so they took it down and moved it. In the location i hunt, you need a permission slip from the city since it is a suburb. I showed them my slip showing i have had permission since the spring, when they jsut got permission two weeks ago. 1 guy said he has over 20 cell cams on the property, and 1 guy already took a 9 pt the week before i met them. now I havent seen a deer since those two guys arrived. No idea who they are but i have been hunting this property for 5 years and they show up out of no where and start tearing thru the property - i feel your pain. Hoping to stick it out longer then them and tag a buck still but it doesnt look promising

didnt see a damn thing tongiht, either.

Another great sit with all the little ones. I feel like I'm running a 4 legged day (deer)care. First was a 8" spike that came in between me ant the house 15 yrds out. He walk right into my scent stream. Got nervous and spooked but stayed . He wanted to get to that field.. Hubby calling A.J. 70 yrds from him had him turn and it circled around me. He stopped infront of one of my ground nests to rub a dogwood then came back upon my other side to field 69 yrds out. A bit later the 4 fawn ran under and past me to field. 5 mins later another tiny fawn came in. Another spike entered the field up the hill and the 2 sparred for a long time.
The saddle was comfy but I still had to stand most of the time because of the extreme lean of trunk.

    Can someone post A
picture of a deer. I'm forgetting what they look like
I've seen abrupt changes in deer before but this is ridiculous!
Balls to the walls last week, dead sea last 2 days.

After my first sit with the saddle tonight, I'm thinking it will be my last. It's just not for me.

I'll be out in the morning, 2:30 coming awful early with the Steelers playing tonight.

20% chance of rain late morning/early afternoon.

Need to look at the settings on my trail cam, not sure why it is so crappy on video. may need to change it to still images. Supposed to be 8mp

Jim did you try playing with your tether height and bridge height? That made a huge difference for me

Had a great encounter with a giant. Came onto the food plot 25 yards coming straight at me. Swung downwind to my left, walked around and by me at 5 yards. To thick for a shot. He ran around in the standing corn chasing does for a bit then vanished.

    back at it tomorrow.
