All you need is a come-a-long, that ash tree base is plenty strong to spin that thing 180. Off season project
Congrats on the bucks guys! I seen more deer tonight than I have in a long time. Nothing of the shooter size but the deer were just in slow motion and grazing hard. I actually put my phone up and enjoyed the whole evening.
I put both right G2 and G3 at 8", looked equal and I put left side in the 10-11" range. 17.5" spread, his ears are always tucked back. Gave 17.2 and 18 on MB. He was huge bodied, I remember telling myself if I didn't have so much meat in the freezer he would fill it back up. I just found 20lbs of steaks from my 2017 big 10(11) when looking for meat to turn into jerky before this years deer. I made the right call, go with the gut and in the end you only get punched in it when wrong.
That body would have tripped my kill switch. We all choose our standards. You have had some great bucks. If a clean 10 is what you seek, go for it.
Now looking at the rack better, I agree with your assessment. I think he would push into the 130's, but his brows do hurt him and hard to tell on the mass Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
Forkie making the first appearance youre a better man than me thats for sure. I would have shot him first then i would have thought aboit if i should have or not
Lot of chasing and grunting in the swamp/thick stuff near dark. Laid eyes on a really nice buck for about 5 seconds. He was 150yds in the swamp. Just saw a large, dark brown body, with real white antlers. Couldn’t get my binoculars up in time. Back at it tomorrow. Congrats to all the killers!! Sweet November! First off, good job on the deer all. I've always liked Nov 3. Second off, it took me 4 beers to finish where I left 9ff this morning.
awesome. my OTTO is the same, he sees me start bringing bins up from the basement he gets really worked up. Super clingy and mopey, until I tell him to get in the truck. Then he's at peace. Mrs. Noodles says when I don't take him he's a giant PITA, mopey and barking at every little noise.
