Wyoming was a complete bust for me. I saw two antelope on the property the entire day. Wyoming Game and Fish are doing a very good job of eliminating pronghorn in their state. I've hunted this HMA for five days this season and saw a total of maybe 40 goats. The state has issued 500 doe tags across the entire unit. I honestly do not believe there are 100 does! Talk about killing a future! I tossed in the towel at 1 pm. I sort of felt it would be wrong to continue hunting with the numbers as low as they are. I plan to take up the issue with the state, maybe they just do not know how bad it is in the field. Something has to change or their pronghorn will disappear.
Nevermind. I corrected it myself. Maybe it's the OCD in me but I don't care for anything that is pending. Yeah, that means I hate scorecard entries that say the score is "TBD".
Serious hunting starts for me this weekend and through the 12th. Should be good for a 140-150 and a doe during that time. I’ve got a lot of those running around. I’ve all but given up on a 170 coming back so it’s on now. Congratulations to all of you. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
