I won my choice of a half dozen Victory arrows at the Full Draw Film Tour last night. I have never shot Victory arrows. Looking for input on them. I have my choice of VAP Gamer or Sport; RIP Gamer or Sport; or VForce Gamer or Sport. The gamers are all .003 tolerances and the Sports are .005/6. So I will obviously be going with the Gamer model.

I currently shoot Black Eagle Renegades in 250 spine, .204 inner diameter arrow. I really like how these Renegades shoot from my bow. It looks like the RIP Gamer is the most similar to that. Anyone have experience with these or the other arrow options?

Congratulations on the win, but I don’t know anything at all about Victory arrows.

I’d certainly be trying to match the spine and grains per inch of your Black Eagles though.

Just out of curiosity, what set up do your shoot that requires a 250 spine arrow?

70lb draw weight with the arrow options in my signature. 550+ TAW needs a 250 spine. Under 550 I can shoot 300 spine arrows.

I rock almost the same but 600 grains. I found 300 tuned better for me.

I guess I could have just looked at your signature. Never even occurred to me. I must be getting old.

I shot victory Vforce 350 spine for a year with one of my Oneidas. They were durable and I really liked them.

Except for this little problem... 20210716_131501.jpeg

Paul W (in my SOTD FB group), in the UK shoots them...he may be able to help...

According to the Victory Archery website, the 300 spine Gamers appear to be closest to my 300 spine set up with the Black Eagles, but, with a slightly higher FOC. I am thinking I will go that route most likely.

Fix, we shoot very similar specs.
I have shot all those Victory's except the VAP.

I used to shoot RIPs, still have 6 of them. The only reason I switched to Renegades was first, I got a helluva deal on a dozen Renegades on Lancaster, and second, I was looking to go a bit heavier so needed the 200 spine.

I also used to shoot the Vforce 350s and while they were very good arrows, they are on the light end of spine even with no weight up front and shooting 100grs. Killed a lot of deer with them but no where near as hard hitting as the RIPs.

29.5" Renegades, HITs and 100gr heads with Nockturnals and I am sitting at 585gr.

I got a few of these with the 350 VForces. Shoot great just a little light for my taste.

@cantexian, the RIPs will get you able to use the same inserts as your Black Eagles, if that's important to you.

If you want to be economical, Guide Gear labeled arrows are made by Victory and exactly the same as the VForce. I talked to Victory direct about it and the tech guy told me as much. So you could pick up the other half dozen arrows pretty cheap.

FWIW, I noticed zero difference in accuracy between the Sports and Gamers...both more than adequate consistent accuracy...but the .001 were sick.

Victory is who makes GrizzlyStik. All I know about them is that and that I love the GrizzlyStiks. So there’s that…

Well, my debit card got hit with a $9 charge from Victory Archery. They told me I would have to pay shipping, but, arrows were on them. No shipping email though. I hope they get before I take the family to Florida on Friday.

yeah, kind of, but arrows that retail at $90-100 for a half dozen? I will take that for $9. If I don’t like them, I can always sell them for more than I paid.

Finally arrived yesterday right before I left town for a week in Florida. I think I will sit on them until after season before building. I am good on arrows for this year.
