I ended up seeing a bunch of deer in the corn. They were popping out of everywhere except where i was. Wonder why? Haha. I dont think they knew i was in there just bad luck. 2 small bucks sparred for a good while. I hung late until the field cleared and then as i was tying up all my gear at base of my tree i heard one bound off down the trail i was setup on. Go figure. There was a super big set of tracks in there though. Alot of good sized tracks but that one set was freaking huge. I need to get some cams rolling again.

Idk how you feel abt this. Just an idea,
There is a deer call that replicates a deer blowing. Alarm snort or something like that. You could blow that to get the deer out of your field. So they don’t associate your tree with a human, rather a deer blowing cuz of a coyote or something.

Ive carried a turkey diaphragm call with me that i can howl with just like a coyote. It works for sure. I probably wont be setting up there any more. Just more of an observation sit to see what would hit that field.

I’m hunting a bedding area this morning. I’ve only gotten 1 good buck out of there in the past. I’ve seen some good ones but haven’t been able to connect in there. Good luck am crew.

Good luck guys. I’ll be out this evening. Figured since no luck in the mornings I might as well try evenings. I have Been seeing more deer midday and evening around my house lately. Maybe that’ll be so at the stand

Had a deer come out of the corn and move across behind me at about 30yds, right at shooting time. Couldn't see good enough to make it out. Turkey flew down about 50yds away, if it meanders over here it will go in my freezer.

I’m in the stand! For now at least…. 50/50 chance a thunderstorm rolls through at about 8 so we will see. Wind is definitely picking up, last night was slow. Two does and a coyote, tried sticking the coyote but he wouldn’t stop for me. Good luck everyone that’s out!!
