This isn't live but thought I'd share now that day of excitement has passed, not to mention service out there is shoddy at best so picture uploads are essentially impossible... Anyway, got set up around 530 this am, and had first deer walk through around 550. Too dark obviously but it came close enough to make out outline. Around 7 had 1st 2 small 4 points roll in. Few minutes later couple good 8 points rolled in. Same 2 I saw morning before i didn't take crack at. I was prepping myself mentally and waiting for them to walk into range i was comfortable with when this larger buck rolled in. Had to change plan and by this point heart started pounding. Never heard my heart so loud in my life haha. He got within the 15 yd range i was hoping, got pin set on him and "Smack..." Hit mid mid left lung side and BH came out low front right lung. After gutting actually found I kissed edge of heart too, nice slice in side of it from the BH. He ran 15 yds ans arrow finished passing through then ran about another 60 yds and fell over before jumping fence into neighbors property Plot I am hunting is only 15 acres. Getting it shoulder mounted since its my first and looks so good. Already dropped cape, skull and hide off at taxidermy. They have someone who scores there so just going to have them look it over. Hopefully have it on scorecard next week. Meats deboned and in freezer ready for drive home monday. For those out this evening, wishing you same luck I got.

Well I'm in for the weekend. Saw lightning again, so I decided I'd better come in. Heard several trees got hit this morning by lightning. Had something come running behind me making a lot of noise. on top of that rain... at least next Saturday starts my huntcation.
Thats what i keep saying... Thank you everyone for grats. Curious how long ill keep living the shot over in my head for. Really shocked myself based on the shot i took on the doe yesterday.
All set up. Got my 3 year old with me. Checked cameras heading out this morning and had a good buck here at 6 last night. Hopefully he does it again tonight.
