All setup in a new spot, platform is creaking pretty bad, I guess the rain the other day left some rust. It’s much more humid than it seemed, I’m sweating like a pig. Fingers crossed the wind doesn’t change.

I took the same time off as well for the first week of bear season here in SC. Wish the temps would look like that down here! last i saw was 82 for next Saturday down here!
Glassed field at 7:15, 3 eight pts. 2 shooters. A very nice 6 and several doe feeding past the house. A brisk breeze out of the east they are all east of the house. Hoping they come through gully stand in the morning it will be a first sit in that particular stand.
I was covered up in deer…well 7 of them. That damn 4 point I posted a pic of ran the does off, for no reason. He was just minding his business and this dang momma doe just took off. Good news, I’m in the right spot, the wrong tree. Tomorrow evening should be successful. We have soccer in the am, so no morning hunt.

Back home from the hunt. No service when I'm out there. Had a deer skirt me at about 80 yards then passed on a doe at 20 with Hope's of seeing the buck I had seen yesterday. Sorry team 4. Was gonna sit tonight but a buddy called. He had shingles stripped off a roof and rain was coming. Being the nice guy I am..... I figgered team #17 didn't need any points now anywhoo
