Yeah I have that kind of time, grow pumpkins, wait till them ripen then stew them down? I can get a can of Festal pumpkin 5 miles away at the grocery store.

As a younger man, I would always hear "dads" talk about hunting with their kids and how they got just as much enjoyment, if not more, from their children's experiences and successes than their own. I always thought they were full of it and that's just something people said. Many years later, I finally get it.

Wait till you are a Grandpa you get to make up for all the regrets of things you didn't have time for when you were a parent.

This gives me anxiety to even think about.

On a side note, I'll never forget what my dad said to me when I killed my first deer. "Well, you finally killed one. Now you just need to get laid and get your driver's license, and you'll be a man." I was 14.

Your dad is obviously very wise and tells it like it is without mincing his words.

Watching my son play outside linebacker and completely destroying their offense. Their QB had his fill of him for sure. :p

Driving your truck after a fresh tune up and brake job. Amazing how you can get use to the light vibrations, brakes I knew were about toast, rotors had a pretty good warp that shimmied the steering wheel and pulsed the pedal, still had about .075" of pad.

I was surprised how easly the spark plugs were, literally took about 35 minutes for all 6. Easiest change I have done on anything knewer than mid 90's, usually one that is near impossible. The way Toyota designed the front calipers so if you just wanted to do a pad swap, which I never do, always pads and rotors, all you need is two straight screwdrivers and needle nose pliers.

Factory plugs and front pads/rotors lasted nearly 8 years, just shy of 53k on the ODO.

Changing just 6 spark plugs in a pick up just isn't right. You have to have 8 cylinders man.

I hear ya, but $50-60k for a full size is hard to justify and payments/insurance wasn't achievable 7 years ago. No way am I touching that idea in today's market

When I was much younger I had an Isuzu 4x4 pickup, that was one tough truck I loved it, it only had 4 cylinders but it would go anywhere.

I learned some excellent news this morning Rascal Flatts will no longer be recording or performing music. That baby talk singing made me want to punch something.

I thought Rascall Flatts was the worst think to happen to country radio in 50 years, and then Dan and Shay came along and said 'hold my Cosmo'.
