My hope is that I get something this weekend. I only have enough vacay to warrant to long weekends for sits so hopefully that will be enough. And as much as I would like a trophy from my first year out, I would not be upset with just putting some meat in the freezer. Especially with the cost of beef continuing to rise.
Hey it was brought to my attention that you shorted your self on your score. With the contest you get all gross points. You had subtracted the 1 1/8" add point for your gross. So actually you can add that back in. Which gives you a total of 137 1/8" Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk

Definitely going on doe patrol now. I can say that the buck I shot on Friday evening and lost was a 150's type of deer. I'll be waiting for something like him or bigger now. Unfortunately I won't be able to upgrade but I'm super happy with my buck especially coming from public land.

You guys are not going to believe this! I found my buck! He was still alive yesterday and me and a buddy found him this morning, dead in his bed. This was 18 days after I shot him. I feel so bad for this buck to go thru this. I can't believe the will to survive. I didn't give up hope in finding him, I knew I would. Just crazy it happen like this.
