Not sure if any of you guys are in the market for a new cell cam but Cabelas has the tactacam reveal X in stock this morning. I’ve been trying to pick a couple up for awhile but they are always out of stock and sell out quick. Best cell cam I’ve ever used for the price!

Are they fast enough to catch those Oklahoma giants:poke:

I bought 3 of the cell links this year trying to save a dollar and I do not like them.

Awesome! Its nice having your own set up! I make my own jerky (using thinly sliced pieces) bought a dehydrator several years back love it! I haven't made summer sausage in a few years but may try it again this year provided I shoot something lol

Well team my buddy and I are just getting to our second spot in SD. The first spot we went to we talked to a land owner and he was saying there isn't much for deer in the area and so we went and glassed and it was super dense area with pines and just tough country. Spooked a doe and then we opted to just head further west and we are seeing a bunch of deer. Tomorrow is day number one to hunt so praying we get into here in the next few days.

Good luck man. I actually made it out this evening. Can’t remember the last time I hunted the opener but I snuck into a spot to just see what the field looks like. Not expecting to see any big ones up close where I’m at.

Had a mama and 2 buttons with her stroll by. Elected to not shoot mama but it felt great being out. I think the 74 degrees kept my trigger finger at bay.

    Goodluck on your hunting adventures.

Same here bud. Decided to postpone the NC trip until next weekend. I just got back from pulling a camera that was about 50yds off the road. It was full with activity everyday from 7:40am-10:30am. No big bucks, but there was a nice 2yo and a load of does. I know where I'll be in the morning and looking to get a doe. Going to go do some scouting/hunting this evening. The white oaks are really starting to drop now.

She is getting better, just slower than me. All the kids are fine despite testing positive. The big problem now is that her dad is back in the hospital. An ambulance took him there this morning. He was in the hospital last weekend and went home last Tuesday. I am confident this is the beginning of the end for him. If he doesn’t pass in the next few days, I doubt he makes the end of the year.

This is on top of having to put down our dog yesterday. This past week has easily been the hardest week we have been through in the 15 years we have been together. We haven’t told the kids yet that he is back in the hospital. They have already been through enough. We don’t want to add more worry to them if it can be avoided.

I've been chasing this buck for two years no pictures of him so far this year. Hope he shows up during the rut. 20200917_200731.jpg 20200917_200658.jpg
