I've got her dragged back to the house and on the gambrel. I'm catching my breath before I skin and quarter her. I got up in the tree I was talking about. As soon as I got set up I realized I'd left my phone at the house. I hadn't been on stand an hour before I saw three does crossing my property working their way right to me. This was the doe in front and she was close before I had a shot. I climbed down as soon as I saw her crash, went to the house, grabbed my field dressing pack and phone and walked the long 76 yards back to the arrow and took the pic. Getting to watch them fall is a huge bonus for me since I'm alone. I did have to lay down on the front of the quad to climb up out of the gulley with her in tow to keep it from rearing up, but it was a blast. The Tactacam was on, so I'll check the footage later. I have a job to do. @MnHunterr, good luck with the recovery. Sounds like you made a good shot!
