Well I did some scouting and fertilized my food plots this weekend. Checked some more of the fleet of cameras. Here are some of the pictures from family 80. 6 days until opener!

I'm in the NW corner of PA...it all stayed south of us (thankfully). A volunteer department next door got sent down with their water rescue team. They were quite busy.

I checked camera over weekend. I have two out I didn't have time to walk back to. This is my main stand.

I'm not getting the big guy in there more than once a week - but I'm sure he's on the back camera. I just snapped pictures of my screen.

Omg. Bad stomach bug hit my wife 2 days ago then me last night. Im not lying when i say it was BRUTAL! Spewing out of both ends. I think i hurled so hard my right eyeball popped out of socket. Doing better today but still have chills and muscle spasms in lower back. Fatigued like no other. Ugh havent been hit like that in years. I will say this too. Shes tougher than i am.

Must be something going around. I had a GI bug a couple weeks ago myself. Had pretty high fevers for a couple of days and even got covid tested. Hope you feel better.

Wife helped me figure it out but thanks Greg.

    Nice bucks Kristen and WB.

Were having a good time in TN. Seen a black bear, a couple bucks, one 120's still in velvet, and a few turkeys. To bad we aren't hunting.

Hope you all are on the mend soon, Brandon. Although we don't hear about the bugs going around as often...it seems to be a going thing right now. I had two EMT's out the last few days for a 24 hour thing.

Thanks! We are all feeling better today. I slept hard last night and woke up in a pool of sweat. I never had fever but i guess the body got it all out. I may even throw the target out in the yard today and shoot the dust off my string

Glad y’all are feeling better! I will say this, women are always a lot tougher than us guys, especially when we are sick! We turn into big baby’s when we’re sick lol.

Went scouting yesterday morning behind the house but didn’t see much fresh sign. I figured that would happen but I did put out a camera. Hopefully come middle October they’ll be some move in.

My camera's have been soaking for a couple of months now, can't wait to check them soon. The WI opener is this weekend but I wont be heading out, unless I have a nice buck pattered I don't like to hunt when it's this buggy and hot. I've been shooting my bow every day and I'm shooting really well so I will be ready when the time comes. Great to hear about everyone's prep and see your cam pics. I will share more when I have something to report.

Good luck buddy! Hope you have some action! I’m going dove scouting in the morning then it’s back to the grind finishing up the plumbing. I’ll post up some pics tomorrow of my place.

Good luck! One more week till I'm out as well. Temps are starting to cool down too, should be great. Still have a few things to do, probably try to get a few things done today. Maybe pull a couple cards and get a game plan. If I get any pictures of any potential shooters I will post them up.

Checking in. Hope you get some action WiscBuck. Get us on the board! Team 6 just killed a nice buck. Im going to scout a new piece today. Its a new area of public just opened this year. Its loaded with deer and monsters at that. This was a place that was always off limits that people stopped on the side of the road with binos to look at all the huge bucks. We counted over 80 deer in one grass field one january. Can only hunt certain parts of it (700acres) but should be dynamite. My only concern is it being overran. Only thing that may be good about thatbis i havent heard anyone talking about it. Idnr didnt announce it they just put the place on the map list. I shot some groups yesterday. They were all looking pretty good at 30-40. A little left. Ut dont know if thats me or i need to adjust. Im going to keep shooting groups and if it doesnt come back center i will adjust my sight. Overall happy! Cant wait to get out there!!!
