Hours til I pop smoke... Maybe this belongs in best things in life. After that, it's just 32hrs of driving and then I'm bowhunting!
Almost decided to shoot a doe this morning but decided to hold out for a buck. Also saw this guy, September 11 elk season begins. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
A couple hundred # of elk meat is, a pretty good motivator... Of course a bull screaming in your face, also an adrenaline boost and highly addicting.
This one of my fav episodes... If time is tight, ff to 28:58 and watch a minute or two... We haven't yet had them at 4yds, but have gotten to inside of 15yds...past few years many encounters inside of 50yds... Oh I'm juiced up now!
2 weeks out! Some summer time prep and the essentials. Sent from my SM-G781V using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
This has nothing to do with LFTS, but are there any bow technicians on here or anyone familiar with long draw bows? There's a new member on the forums who is 6' 11" and posted a question. I moved the thread to Bowhunting Talk to see if we could get him some assistance. It's at the top of this forum right under the "stickies".
The uruk-hai had some long bows and they were huge! Jokes aside, I saw the post you are referring to and I really hope someone can help. 6'11! Good lord. Sent from my SM-G781V using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
I know. I'm thinking a 34" draw length might work for him but it's all about his wingspan. If he needed a 35" but 34" was the longest you could find I can't help thinking that maybe they could just put a long string loop on? I don't know. I just hate to see someone come on the forums for help and no-one answer when I know we have folks with the expertise. On another note, if he could draw 70# @ 35" can you imagine the arrow speed?
