Good luck. I hope they work for you like I think they will. Can't wait to hear that you hammered them again! Nothing I have ever fished for excited me as much as a big ole small mouth!

Thanks buddy. I didnt even get them out yesterday on that new river I fished. I could tell that it wasnt gonna honor those baits correctly. Way too much fishing pressure. I should be back in my good spots late next week...temps supposed to drop 10 to 15 degrees...85 and 65 at night. I'll take some pics with those baits in their mouths!

Uncle called and invited me to his cabin on Lake of the Woods for a few days of fishing.
Took me 1/10 of a second to say yes/ 10 minutes to pack up and here I am.
    Beautiful morning.

Hopefully, my retirement boat will look something like that.

Still kicking around ideas. Our 21' is really too small to weekend on. And most larger fishing boats don't have the amenities that the wife would like.

I don't want an older boat with wood stringers even though those probably fit both our needs better than "newer" boats.

Trying to get the wife to sit down and write out a list of what we "have to have" . She just likes to send me pics....ooh, I really like THIS boat-followed by another pic of a different boat that she really likes.

Time to be a "tire kicker" and start looking at layouts
