I was really in the fence about signing up this year. It always seems puzzling to me why people sign up check in and disappear.
The reality is even getting to know a couple guys better and share in their adventures makes it worthwhile. Looking forward to it, thanks for your efforts LC!

I was debating signing up too. Only because between the live from the stand and normal texting and talking to people in between i just have a hard time keeping up!

Yeah, the balance between the team and LFTS is a tough one for me too!

A good captain and or team that forces communication goes a long way. I’ve experience some ghosts over the year but not a ton lately. Message updates, exchange of emails and just active early makes folks less likely to do this.

Like, on-on the fence? A few yards from it? Or just within sight?

I had a great day today.

I am in Tennessee right now.

We had a bow club meeting this morning where I took on the duties of Secretary/Treasurer for the club.

Then we had a bow shoot and I shot better than I have ever shot with the new bow. I was jazzed to hit four bulls on an 80/70/60/50 walk up.

Them we pitched horseshoes for a few hours and I threw better than I ever have. Usually I suck at horseshoes but today I was throwing ringers.

It’s almost 9:30 now and I’m arrowed/shoed/beered out. I’m about to hit the rack and make the 3.5 hour drive home in the morning.

I’ll check back in when I get home to see how things are going.

The treasures you find once demoing…the guy that lived in the house were currently in did so many off the wall things that needed correction. Every project I do turns into a complete cluster F. Doing the back patio and sunroom now Finding a lot of presents to keep me busy!

Better to demo it now while it's 90+ heat and humidity outside than to be doing it come October.
June, July, and August are for paying It forward.

I just gutted our bathroom and remodeled it about two months ago.

    You have fun with that.

guts almost done. Helped that the previous homeowner decided it was a good idea to glue cement board under the ceramic tiles directly to the subfloor...And I don't mean like normal glue pattern, I mean it looks like they rolled it on. So yeah, removing those tiles is not happening.

Just putting the vinyl planks right over the top of the tile now. So while I hate doing it this way, don't really have a choice and it does end up saving me time.

That’s what they did in ours and what you’re doing is exactly what I did: Vinyl planks right on the tile.

It’s looking like I’ll miss the Kentucky opener unless I want to spend four or five nights in a hotel on a hunting trip.

    That’s really not my thing.

Well, I guess you can just hit the Arkansas opener instead of waiting for late season.

With any luck I should have my travel trailer by then, but I do plan on hitting my brother's new place in Arkansas sometime around then.

Also, Missouri opens on 15 September.

Got an invite to hunt with my buddy in KY early season. Might go for a week on the opener, depends on what jobs I have going on.
