Changing my arrow set up this year and wanted some input about which spine would be best given how I want my arrow to set up this year—aiming at a heavier arrow . I currently shoot a Mathews Triax @ 28.5 DL and 70#. Arrow length prob somewhere between 28-29 in. Magnus buzz cut 125 gr, half out insert 51 gr, vanes and lighted nock 38gr total, and depending on spine: 250 spine-10.7 GPI, 300 spine 8.7 GPI. Just wanted to ask for you guys’ input on this.

If you're on the borderline of spine, always go stiff.
I shoot 70#, 29.5" with appx same weight up front and shoot the Rampage 250s with great effect. Like...Great Effect.

300 spine still puts total weight under 475 so that is probably sufficient enough. But I've read everywhere its better to over spine than under spine... So when in doubt, spine out!

250 spine weight is round 525 total so your not looking at major weight gains or anything.

You need to be 250 for sure. At 28 inch you would be a 300 but if you are planning on a high foc load you would need to bump a spine so 250.
At 29 you are 250 already.

Considering my previous arrow set up was barely pushing 420 grains.. getting anywhere between 500-530 was my goal for arrow set up this year. Thanks for your help!
