I shoot a Mathews Legacy at 60# with. 27.5 inch draw length. I’m looking at getting some Easton Axis arrows. What is the best setup for hunting for this arrow? I would like to get 12% FOC. I shoot 100 grain broadheads. What other things should I consider when setting up these arrows? Thanks! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Whew, there's a lot to unpack there. I'll assume you are shooting the 5mm? At 340 spine so 9.6 gpi. And I'll also assume your vanes are blazer (3) and I guess I'll say you have a nocturnal nock. You will need to screw in a 50 grain weight into your insert to get to 11.6% Here is the calculator. https://www.goldtip.com/Resources/Calculators/FOC-Calculator.aspx Get yourself a cheap scale https://www.3riversarchery.com/supe..._3XB_1T53YC3lV57GjolBU_Ekvw_qfAxoCGJEQAvD_BwE Just don't forget you need to stiffen your shaft when you load the FOC. That change will effect your GPI which is the greatest factor in the equation. It's a rabbit hole man
