There is absolutely NOTHING, now or historically, not completely Hypocritical concerning that political party. Sure. Every political entity has some of that but....Nothing,Nothing as glaringly obvious as with the Democrats. The list is just too long to list

The IL State Rifle Association has effectively sold out its members and all the gun owners in IL. Their bullshit push of the FOID Modernization bill backing MDA and other gun control groups has passed both chambers. It is currently being held in limbo, possibly to push a more heinous version having this one on the back burner if not. Finally, the criminals and thugs in this state will be held accountable... Err, wait, they don't possesss FOIDs

Requiring private transfers(person to person even if family) to be transferred to an FFL who is required to maintain the record for 20 years. Can charge up to $25 per transaction. Fingerprints are optional for now, with a baited attachment you will never ned to renew your FOID Card. What will you need to do annually? They won't be content with it as is, after passing. It is defacto registration, no FFL wants to hold records on transactions they had no hand in, it will eliminate private sells by legal gun owners. Illegal gun owners are not held to the same constraints. It is registration in its infancy, details to be passed in future sessions/years but ISRA is a supporter
