I have no desire to sit in a saddle, 15 years ago I would have been all in. Today I prefer a nice comfy ladder stand with a footrest.

This is who we want to keep around for the kid, nice bachelor group here. Tree stand will go in the cluster of trees behind the 3rd deer from the left

Avian-X and Dave Smith are widely considered the top of the food chain for turkey decoys. Beware - they're pricey!

In all seriousness - the key to turkey hunting for me has always been finding where the birds are roosting, setting up close, getting their attention, and letting the decoys do the rest. If the birds aren't around, you can't kill them. That's always been my biggest challenge on small pieces of property. If they aren't there, you can't kill them.

Almost Justin, they just came down on the wrong side of the river, he got to hear some gobbles, so that was cool.

I literally just went out of my way to log in and to say good luck to you and your son. I assume that this is the young man that made the funny face at you for wearing the pink bh.com tank top?

Yes, we set up two more treestands on Monday our cams are getting lots of pics.

He shot his bow yesterday a bunch, he's excited.

Early turkey hunts were rough on him
