Took A.J. for a walk about to check turkey tracks. WTH! What a mess limbs and trees down all over and 3 blinds collapsed. 2 broken. 1 OK ,but one in bad shape. Did find great turkey sign near one blind area and followed path back to roost. Still snowing steady
Anyone know a cheap place to buy fiberglass poles???

Go to the hardware store and get the fiberglass rods they sell to mark the edges or the driveway and sidewalks they are about 4' tall, get you some gorilla duct tape to join the rods together.

It's been sunny and 55°+ almost everyday for the past three weeks. Guess what day I'm scheduled to get my roof done?

I am sickened, disgusted, pissed off, outraged. I got a text from a good friend of mine that has not completely retired from fire. Evidently staffing at the firebase has become a hack show, engines parked not fire ready, not full of fuel, not cleaned out after shift, even spit bottles left in the engine, if a crew member left a spitter in the engine I would throw the bottle at the offender. So glad I retired before I got bitter.
They had a fire a couple weeks back and got called back 5 times because the fire was not mopped up properly, HACKS.

The fabulous Tesla battery car...hit a tree burst into flames and passengers dead. Fire fighter having hard time putting to a news out due to battery restarting fire. I Googled Tesla crashes, common theme. So if cancer from sitting on a giant battery in an enclosed small space doesn't get you..........wait for a crash
I'll keep my gas engine thank you.

Lithium fires are a bit different as I recall...pretty sure you need to use a chemical/powder, not water, to extinguish...

In minnesota they now want to make equipment violations something that the police can not pull you over for just that. Good god it is racist if you expect people to keep their tabs current and vehicle in running order.

Yeah, as soon as I heard that I knew all I needed to know about the man. Didn't have to see his face to know what he looked like.

Question for you guys, what is your stance on red flag laws? I feel conflicted, on one hand, I can see how they could prevent tragedy. But on the other hand I see gun control advocates who wish to use it as a means to an end. Specifically to get as many "assault weapons" out of our hands as possible.

Any how...last good day before rain and plummeting temps . Then mid week 3 " of snow mid week. I know it's spring in the hills but I'm sick of 60's one day ...snow the next.
