Have you put your first scratch on it yet? It never fails when you get something new!

I had a 10 year old Ford, I finally got a new company truck less than 1000 miles on it some donk put a dent in it in the airport parking ramp. I was pissed.

You almost just got to laugh at it, never fails. Happened with my last 2 trucks. The one I have now it happened right before I took ownership, but the price was so great, I just looked past it.

Might I suggest a trailer over a tow bar?

    You run 1/8 or 1/4?

    Best run?

Something I wish I could afford as a hobby lol

^^^ I trailer the car. There is no tow bar in the pic. I take it up to Rock Falls dragway near Eau Claire. I run the 1/4 mile 11.70's @ 114 mph. With a bit of shock tuning and timing adjustment it should be close to the 11.50 mark. If I break the 11.50 mark I will be booted off the track for not having a roll bar. It's a good time.

The trailer/tow bar was a joke, I knew what you meant with the pic, would have to be a liberal to tow bar a drag car

Hoping you can tune that 11.51 consistently.

    Good stuff!

The way Greg worded the post and then seeing the picture, I thought the same thing. In my defense though, in the 70's, 80's and early 90's it was very common to see tow bars being used especially by farmers in my area. I just just figure Greg was old schooled enough and it didn't surprise me. I wanted to give him cr@p about it and ask if he put a mount on the front of his dodge for " when " it broke down so he could use the car to pull his truck back to the garage with the tow bar. Then I thought... don't do it... Greg is a nice guy. If it would have been anyone else on here, game on. :)

^^^ Well thanks for taking it easy on me!

Back in the 70's I did use a tow bar to take my 401 Gremlin to the track. Now days I use a trailer.

    Trailer and Gremlin below.

New used truck big buck! The old Ridgeline hit 205k miles and some weird sound started from the engine two weeks ago. In the last month I had a big crack develop in the windshield and the drivers side door wont open from the inside. Hahaha. Today I forced my cheapskate self buy this 2019 with only 9k miles. V8 sounding sweet.

That coyote motor might be the best V8 Ford ever made. If you're into Ford trucks I guess. Congrats man!
