Hey guys I haven't shot since the mathews outback like 2008. I'm 40 and I made a mistake already. I just purchased a z2 with a zx 29 br cam. I am a 28 inch draw. I thought I could just by the module or adjust the cam currently on the bow. My local shop quoted 175 and 2 months on a new cam. I can't afford that and can't wait that long. If I can't find a cam il be selling this clean z2 with 29 inch draw. Anyone willing or able to help with this issue would be greatly appreciated

Could always try a thumb release or attach your current release directly to your string. That will give you about 1" off your draw length and then the bow might fit you.

Holt is right on with this. But you don't have many options beyond those.

Call Mathews. YES call. Ask exactly what cams fit that Z2. There is a good chance 1 is online for sale.

FWIW. A 28" cam most likely will measure actual 28.5".

Found a 27.5 ZX cam on ebay. Might work???? https://www.ebay.com/b/Mathews-Cam/bn_7024935301

This may help too. Rather sure the orig Z7 cam will not work on Z2. Buy think all Zx cams will. Again leave a message at Mathews and they will call you back.
