No seriously why would you possibly wait to shed hunt if conditions were good? Personally when I moved I saved 1 matched set, the biggest I found ever, and 1 from the ranch put them in a redwing mason jug on the mantle and either gave away or threw away all the sheds.
Wait you are inviting rubes from the website to your farm to shed hunt for you right? They are going to grid and search give you all they find and you make them a burger and give them a coors light and send them home.

Application specialists that sit at a desk and answer the phone and consider themselves sales people deserving commission like they closed the deal. Had a sale close today a very nice order well over $100,000. The "super closer" knows that orders over $100,000 require progress payments and that clown did not put that in his quote because he may have actually had to put on his big boy underpants on and negotiate that as part of the quote on the front side. Now we have the order and guess who has to go back after the fact and negotiate progress payments?

I have been building points in Wyoming for a couple of years now. And this was announced yesterday, a state bill to reduce nonresident tags to 10% of total tags while almost doubling the cost of most tags. I will my antelope and elk points for tags since I am in for those already. If I'm not mistaken, I think that still very early in the process, maybe yet to go to committee. MT has also had so many crazy bills this year, I can't keep track of them all... I just expect NR hunting is just going to continue to get more expensive and OTC options disappearing.
Yeah, price increases are to be expected. But, almost doubling tag prices while drastically reducing tag availability is a little much.
I don't like it either, ID prices drastically increased and seemed to have reduced NR volume. MT bills seem to be moving in the same direction. If WY does move forward with their bill, it reduces NR tags by 6%. Statutorilly, WY is capped at 16% today...WY also already has the restriction of requiring a guide to hunt in (federal) wilderness which already rubs me the wrong way. An NM bill seems to be moving away from outfitter welfare. One last somewhat brought spot MT tag fees are tied to economic rates, so they increase a small bit annually... The big tag jumps less palatable for budgeting.
After a couple more light coats it is "close enough" It lightened a fair bit with the additional coats. I can live with it for the winter beater. Tough matching 15 yrs of sun fade lol
Agreed all around, I am going to eat the cost and elk hunt Wyoming at least once. Bowhunting elk there has been a dream of mine for several years. But, this may change my perspective on it going from being an every few years thing to a once or twice in a lifetime thing.
Well, as a follow up to the earlier WY legislature rant, I had a cordial email exchange with the one state senator that bothered to reply. Good Morning Wyoming Legislators, As a nonresident of Wyoming who is currently buying preference points for several species to hunt in your state, I want to tell you that I am very disappointed to hear the proposal of SF0103 splitting tags 90/10 between residents and nonresidents. I understand that you must prioritize your own residents before nonresidents like myself. However, I think you will be making a serious mistake for the long-term future of hunting in Wyoming if this is passed. Due to the higher cost of nonresident tags, I am sure that Wyoming, like many states, receives the vast majority of its revenue from nonresident hunters. That revenue will most likely take an unrecoverable hit if nonresident tags are reduced to 10%. With so few tags being available to nonresidents, Wyoming simply will not be worth the time or money to build points any longer. Wyoming is a wonderful state and I have enjoyed my time there in the past and hope to continue to have many opportunities to travel and hunt there. However, if SF0103 passes, I will no longer invest my time or money in Wyoming after I have used my current preference points. The simple reality is that there will be better opportunities in other states. I take no issue with the price increase of nonresident tags as revenue has to come from somewhere. However, the combination of increase in tag price with the drastic reduction in tag availability is a mistake. I ask that you reject SF0103 and keep Wyoming the wonderful state that is already is. I lean towards making sure that Wyoming residents, some of whom have put in for many years for a special license, have the opportunity to do so. I also understand that our non-resident hunters bring a fair amount of revenue into our state. I will continue to listen to both sides of the coin before I make a final decision. In particular, the businesses of the tourism industry such as hotels, campgrounds, gas stations, restaurants, grocery stores and guide services? I would imagine that their incomes would be hurt by fewer nonresidents coming to Wyoming and spending money with their businesses.
WTF is with eggs why the hell is it so hard to get a clean peeling egg on a hard boiled egg? Do not give me tips and pointers did the ice water cool the add vinegar every other other variation to try to get a clean peeling egg. I just want a GD egg salad sandwich for lunch. Need to clarify this is store-bought eggs my daughter forgot to bring farm eggs last Sunday when we had dinner.
Yeah, you're not looking for tips but... Not sure why, but my wife got an instapot and has made hard boiled eggs in it and they're very easy to peel... Not sure if the shell is just premiable to loosen the membrane from the shell... Also more than you need to know - egg salad gives me gas.
Are they store bought or FrEggs? I got some store bought a while back and it was damn near impossible to get a decent crack on em without shattering the shell and getting pieces everywhere. I never tried boiling the store bought ones I had but I imagine if their layers aren’t getting enough nutrients to pop an egg out the vent that has a decent shell on it then the membrane probably isn’t gonna be right either. I am no expert, but IMHO it sounds like the piggly wiggly needs to give those ladies some extra oyster shells.
