Got the urge bad but still have Lotta bucks still holding and I hate going over the same ground more then once. Must resist.......
Hit a couple other spots and picked up 2 more fresh ones. Didn't jump any deer to know for sure but I think a lot are still holding. I've heard others are walking spots close by so wanted to get out before they got to these areas.
Found three today. Two were a matches set of spikes. First time I ever found matched spikes. The small 4 point side had a lot of bone below the base.
Found an old dink and then this toad today. Bad part is it was in a spot I walk every year but I think it was too green and the briars around it may have been out...or I just completely missed it the last year or two. The crab claw curves around and is horizontal almost instead of vertical like normal.
Man you all got me fired up to go put some miles on, I checked a field the other day in the snow with no luck. All snow is gone and I’m about to get after it, still have bucks with both sides on cams tho.
Have not been to my cabin for a month. Got here right before dark, made a fast 100 yards dash and found this set about 60 out the back window. They were 3 feet apart. I think he's a younger deer with awesome potential. Guessing low 150's.

I love how every antler is different in some way. In all of the sheds that will be picked up this year, there will not be any that look like that one.

did a rough score giving an 18" inch spead. Came up with 149". His short brows hurt him. No matter. Score or not, he's still a classy buck and hope he stays around.
