It has warmed up to 21 here now. It almost feels like a spring day.

I appreciate all of the harassment sent my way, I’m sure glad I can take more then I give out lol. This was the best team that I have been in and not just because we won. Can’t wait to do it again next year!

I think exchanging numbers for a big group chat would be a great idea. I have done that with one other team. It worked great but did slow down the thread just a little bit but not bad. Hope everyone is doing well and staying warm!

I concur, the years I was on a team that did the group chat, it kinda broke the team into two chunks - those partaking in it and those that didn't want to. Some updated just the chat others just the thread.

BUT that was a different dynamic and group altogether. I'd say as captain perhaps we all should at minimum send our numbers your way or our personal email just as a way for communication.

Also, I still find it incredibly sad it never dawned on me you and Mitchell on Facebook were one in the same LOL

I am finally back in the technology world. Last Tuesday I was icefishing and dropped my phone down the ice hole. My wife wasn’t too happy with me. We had insurance on it but it was still $200 to replace it. So she gave me strict instructions it stays on the truck when I am icefishing It was nice not to get bugged by anybody, but yet nobody could get a hold of me.

The wife and I ventured out to the post office today. We got another four or five inches of snow so I had some traction on the roads.

I knew there were a couple of things from Amazon there that my wife had ordered. I was thinking maybe my package would be there but it wasn't.

I got my prize package and love it. Kudos to BHOD for putting together a very generous gift! Please let them know that it is very much appreciated.

I hate that I missed 4 weeks of the best part of the season and did not put a buck down, but I am getting pictures of all of last years targets and picked up an incredible new farm to hunt, so I have high hopes for next year. Looking forward to a repeat.

Your gonna get teased about that! Around 25 years ago build a big ice shack, had a wood burning stove in it for heat and cooking. Had a package of hot dogs slip out of my hand and down the hole. Kids still remind me of it.

My prize package showed up in the mail yesterday. Very nice!

I did pass on your thanks to Brad and the crew.

On another note, I am going to get one more hunting trip in. I’m planning on heading to Arkansas tomorrow for a few days.

There should still be snow cover in the woods. If so it could be a lot of fun.

Good luck on your hunt Chief! Snow is always great for seeing sign and tracking deer.

    Thanks Rick.

I’ll be reviving the LFTS thread a little bit while I’m there.

Got my package as well, now everywhere I go, I get asked for autograph. They think I'm @Justin ,which is kind of degrading, I didn't think I was that ugly.

Might be more competition next year, when word gets out of our contest prizes, bows, trucks and other great prizes. 20 teams this year 100 next year, Johnny will be so busy with the contest he'll only be able to kill 10 deer.
