    Way to stick with it Josh, I can't hardly believe she made it that far like that. That's a very similar shot in and out to my buck this year and he didn't even go 50 yards before he collapsed

    The neighbor helped me drag my doe 100+ yards and then grabbed his tractor to transport her to my truck. Good dude! Found out he shot my #1 back in '16 and '17.

    What's a decent beer to thank him with? For the help, not the shooting of giants!

    Case of domestics or a gift card to a distributor, damn that’s a tank. Good neighbors are hard to come by, especially if they hunt too. Maybe you can combine forces, swap pics etc

    Out for a scout this afternoon on public. I am going to sit a food plot for last couple hours of daylight. Just bumped five does out of a draw I suspected was bedding. Too loud to stalk. Scouting objectives #1 achieved.

    Set up over a food plot. NNW wind, expecting deer from N and NE. 90
    Minutes of light left. I didn’t see anything at the food plot. Maybe I should have tried a bump and dump on the does I bumped while scouting. Oh well, two weeks left if I can get out again.

    The weather finally allowed me one more hunting trip to Arkansas.

    This is my first real hunt with snow on the ground. I’ve never gotten to follow a blood trail in the snow.

    I was still setting up when a doe and a fawn ran in to 35 yards. I managed to fish my release out of my pack and almost got a shot but they trotted off before I could draw.
