I am the only one still hunting for Team 11. We are in second place. I will not be able to get out again before the contest ends so that probably does. I was going to have to put down 210"+ anyway. That is a tall order on Arkansas public land.

It's 01 February and now we are officially final on scores.

    It's been a heck of a season.

Ty LC for staying on top of things and running the contest.
I keep an unofficial score throughout the season, and it can be exhausting.

Agreed! Huge shout out to LC for keeping a running total. That was a lot of work and makes the contest a lot of fun to stay active in.

    THANKS LC!!!!!

@Justin So do you just need each of our draw lengths for all the new V3's we won by being on the winning team or do we coordinate that through someone else?

I appreciate the kind words guys. Since I'm retired it wasn't really difficult. Well, except for that one time when I deleted the entire scorecard thread, but we won't talk about that.

It was a bit different taking my MacBook on all of my hunting trips. I'm glad I had the hotspot on my phone while we were camping. I actually make quite a few scorecard entries from my Summit Viper this season.

If Brad and Justin want me to continue doing this I'll be glad to do it next season. I never was really sure if this was a temporary appointment or a permanent one.

You should ask them to double your pay based on your performance. You deserve it. Maybe even triple.........

You will have to start filming next year if you are moderator for the contest again next year. Most killingest member of the BHOD crew. :poke::bhod:

 Filming? Not going to happen. I can barely remember to turn my Tactacam on and not drop the bow after the shot.

Besides, I'm not part of the BHOD crew. I'm not even on the same level as those guys.

We went into hiding.... if we allowed bucks hit by our vehicles we would have repeated haha. I think my team hit 3 or 4.

It's been quiet from @cantexian as well...this thread used to just be filled with him teaching us all how to accept defeat and battle for second....

For the record, I can humbly accept defeat and I have choked on my humble pie. The one legal buck I have had in bow range this season, I passed, because it was an 80" 5 point. Even if I had killed it, it would not have been enough points for Team 11 to keep the lead. I have no regrets on that. I had close encounters with bigger bucks that hung up on the edge of bow range. Now, if I gotten that big 8 in MO that @LittleChief tried to put me on, this would have been a much closer contest. But, that was still a cool encounter and well worth trip to even have a chance at a buck like that. I have no doubt that buck was P & Y. No, my biggest shame is that for two years now, I have not put down at least a doe with my bow. Which is the weirdest part of my season. While bowhunting, I have only seen three does all year, but, I have seen upwards of 20 bucks. But, only three I would have killed and none of them close enough. Normally, its the opposite. For that I am shamed.

Our season is still open until the end of the month, so I am still hunting. Won't count for the contest though even if I put down the new world record buck.
