Wasn’t sure if my plan was going to work, cleared a spot between the two cedar trees and just waited. Three of them stepped out and she finally took a step into the kill zone. Thought I was going to be busted when she looked right at me, guess I didn’t move and she paid no attention to the strange bush. Couldn’t have been more than 10-15 yards, I made a crap shot but hit an artery and she dropped like a rock and died pretty quick. It looked like I hit a heart the way blood was pumping out.
    3 for the freezer!

    Congrats!

On a side note, easy "peasy", from the looks of it you either shot her over a baited pile of peas or while she was drinking the green kool-aid

    Good job!
I've had 100's of deer at super close range while on the ground while wearing whites with snow on the ground.
Can make for some "in your face" fun.

I would, but my family has this crazy desire for a roof over their heads, food on the table and clothes on their backs... Along with electricity, plumbing, sewer, internet, cell phones, cars, insurance, fuel, Yada Yada...

Its also ****ty weather and the week before I take some vacation...

Woke up ready to go at 3:45 but my dad who was out plowing for the state called and said the roads were absolutely horrible. Going to head down around 10 to fill corn feeders and check cameras on the other property and be set up for the evening by 12-1.. 16 daylight pictures of does on the cell cam where I was headed so far
